Tell us a little about yourself:

“I was always ‘religious’ – went to a private, religious school. However, through some close friends, the Word of Salvation was given to me and on June 28, 1978 in my living room, I gave my heart and life to Jesus. I was invited to attend Christian Assembly to hear this wonderful teacher of the Word in the little church in Midland. From there I attended bible study with all the ladies of Christian Assembly, and taught by Ruth Cirelli. The position of secretary opened up and at the urging of my daughter, I applied. I’ve been here ever since! I taught in children’s (ages 2 and 3) classes for 12 years, worked in the nursery, Newcomers dinner, women’s group, and many other areas. My duties as Administrative Assistant are varied, and all-encompassing; and for 27 years, it has been my joy to work here.”

What’s your vision for your department?

“I see this office becoming more and more technology driven. It has changed so much in this area. Gone are the days of just answering the telephone and typing. More and more time is spent on the computer, so I see the increasing need to keep up with this aspect of my administrative duties.”
