After leaving Athens where Paul preached a powerful, intellectual message to the Judges on Mars Hill, Paul travels to Corinth – a city filled with demonic activity, Idolatry and sexual perversion. At Corinth, Paul preached, and demonstrated the supernatural power of God. In communities where the occult was prevalent, it was necessary to show that God’s power was greater. The objective was to shift their faith from the power of Satan to God.
